Team Luke walks the 2013 Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon!
Team Luke walked the Cincinnati Flying Pig on Saturday, May 4th, to help spread Autism Awareness and raise much needed funds for the Autism Family Resource Center. Way to go Team Luke!!

Families with ASD Volunteers had a great time at the Autism Speaks' Walk Now for Autism on Sat. May 18th. It was great getting to see all of our old friends, and very exciting that we were able to hand out so much free information to so many families touched by Autism!

Grab your family and join us at the Families with ASD's Autism Center for our FREE Saturday Socials. Last month we had a wonderful time with our Taco & Bingo Night!
Join us on June 22nd for our Pizza and Game night! We will be ordering Marco's Pizza. Bring your favorite game to play, and let's have some good old fashioned family fun!
We also will have the Wii games ready and the Ping Pong Table set up!
Drinks and pizza will be provided.
All Ages welcome. Bring a snack to share & Drop in any time between 6p.m. and 9p.m.

The Families with ASD's Autism Family Resource Center will be closed on Friday, May 24th -Monday, May 27th, so our volunteers will be able to spend time with their families.

The School of Little Fish Tae Kwon Do in Milford is going to offer Tae Kwon Do classes for young men & women with disabilities and a parent. This class is designed for the parent & the student, working together as a team.

Families with ASD is a grassroots 501c3 public charity founded March 4, 2005 by a Cincinnati couple who have a son with autism.
Families with ASD has NO paid staff, no federal, or state funding, and relies solely on donations from families and our many fundraisers. The Autism Family Resource Center cost over $22,000 a year to run, not to mention all the FREE Holiday parties, socials, and "Out and About with Autism" Events they offer FREE to families.
Families with ASD uses every penny donated to help families living with autism in Our Community. We are helping families with autism, right here, right now.

What? FREE Autism Friendly Easter Egg Hunt

Why? Families with ASD knows how stressful taking your child to the mall to see the Easter Bunny can be, so we are bringing the Easter Bunny to you!! Join us on Saturday, March 30th for the FREE Autism Friendly Easter Egg Hunt/Party!!
How? Join us on Saturday, March 30th for the Autism Friendly Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your cameras , and get your picture taken with the Autism Friendly Easter Bunny. The Autism Friendly Easter Egg Party will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 1p.m. Please do not RSVP via Facebook or email. We want to have an accurate count so please Call now 513-444-4979 and RSVP your Egg Hunt time (We have limited spots to keep it calm and not so overwhelming)
RSVP Your Egg Hunts Time Slots by calling and leaving a voice message at 513-444-4979. Please leave a message of how many children and how many adults will be attending and your preferred time slot. We will have an ASD Autism Volunteer call you back to confirm your time. Families with ASD has No paid staff,only volunteers, so it may take a couple days before your confirmation call is placed.
Easter Egg Hunt Time Slots:
Time Slot 1: 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 with Easter Egg Hunt at 9:30
Time Slot 2: 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 with Easter Egg Hunt at 10:30
Time Slot 3: 11:00 a.m. - 11:45 with Easter Egg Hunt at 11: 30
Time Slot 4: 12 noon - 12:45 with Easter Egg Hunt at 12:30 (This time slot is reserved for children with severe sensory issues and the number will be limited.)
(Please have your child bring a basket to gather eggs.)

Do you want to have some fun? Join us and Get Social!
Grab your family, bring a snack to share and join Families with ASD for our monthly autism support group socials. Please join us for a night of good food, friends and fellowship. All ages are welcome to our FREE monthly meetings. Our Autism Socials are a very casual get together for the Whole Family, in a very autism friendly environment!
Our Social is at the Autism Family Resource Center, 5989 Meijer Drive, Suite 9, Milford, OH 45150. Doors open at 6p.m. and your family can drop in any time between 6p.m. and 9 p.m.
Everyone is invited. Please bring your kids! We have a ping pong table, a Wii, and game room for the kids, a computer lab, and library for the adults, and a movie projection for all. We can play games, cards, etc, or just sit and talk with others who have been touched by autism.

In Loving Memory of Harry L. Hepler
Families with ASD would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the Cox family for the loss of "Pop Pop".
We always enjoyed having him at our events. He will be greatly missed.
